Rodgers Dameron is recognized for his wide-ranging versatility in the creation of animation, visual effects, and graphics exemplified by his diverse host of clients including PBS, National Geographic, Volvo, Fidelity, Red Antler, The Royal Ontario Museum, Embodied Labs, and Duke University.

He created the visual effects and graphics for the Emmy Award-winning documentary series Twice Born, which aired on PBS. His animated film You Knew Me was included in the Austin Under the Stars Festival, New Hope Film Festival, Toronto International Women Film Festival, and Montreal Independent Film Festival.

Dameron holds a BFA in Painting from the Pratt Institute where he studied both traditional and modern practices. He later received an MFA in Animation from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). While at SCAD, his film The Discovery was shown at the Annecy International Animation Festival in France and won honors from the Art Directors Club in New York.

Previously, Dameron has taught courses in Animation at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and Kutztown University. Currently, he works as an assistant professor of animation at UNCG where he teaches Advanced Animation, 2D Animation and Concept Art.
